Yushin America, Inc. was honored to host Rhode Island Governor, Gina M. Raimondo and other State Dignitaries today as the venue for a press conference announcing the state’s new Real Jobs RI plan.

The Governor, along with Rhode Island Dept. of Labor and Training Director, Scott Jensen; Rhode Island Secretary of Commerce, Stefan Pryor; and other state administrators spoke about the new jobs initiative right from YAI’s busy factory floor.  The plan is designed to help the state’s job administrators more quickly recognize the work force needs of employers in Rhode Island who (like Yushin) are growing but are having a difficult time finding trained, skilled workers.

Yushin America’s Operations Manager, Michael Greenhalgh, was among the speakers and welcomed the state’s effort as Yushin is expanding its factory this year and has openings for manufacturing and service technicians, mechanical engineers, sales staff and more.
